THE POWER OF VISUALISATION
In September 2018, my oldest daughter Marie left home for a one-year volunteering project in Soweto – South Africa. Back from the airport, I sat down in my study office amidst all the books and magazines I had gathered over the past 20 years… and started thinking.
I felt this period of my life would be a transition to something new for me as well, but I still had trouble knowing what it would be.
I started opening one book, then another,… and I let ideas and images enter my mind. I knew I needed to create new space for something new… and I was ready to take on any opportunity that would come my way.
I made a declaration to myself: before my daughter would be back home, I would have dug deep into myself and found out my new life purpose.
While I was still very much enjoying giving my coaching classes in nutrition and healthy food, I decided to dedicate the rest of my time studying, learning, reading, following online coaching programs, condensing ideas, writing, attending live seminars… until the dots of my life would connect and tell me what I was meant to do and who I was meant to be.
I needed to focus on myself deeply and I was ready to create a clear-cut vision for my future and set a new direction with much intention.
